Show Cafe, Concept
Brief: To design a minimal, CONTEMPORARY, affordable, high impact cafe.
With the purpose of grabbing a coffee on the go.
Floor Plan layout
Designed with a simple flow structure in the work space behind the counter and the front door to coffee pick up process.
the working counters
Simple, yet different. The curved end of the counter brings a contemporary finish to the shape within this space. The blue grout mixed with the classic grid tile style layout on the floor, gives the place extra personality in an easy and affordable way.
Capturing the perfect spot to stop for a few minutes before you go on your way. The big windows and over-head plants are inspired by some of our favourite cafes in San Francisco’s Mission District, where this design feature is often found.
SHOW CAFE LOGO
Show cafe used the coffee plant leaf as it’s logo-mark. We reflect the leaf in the logo through-out the cafe using plants of a similar family.
Textures and finishes are really important with any project. In this selection we mix: corduroy black and charcoal cushions, matte black acrylic composite counter tops, matte black taps, electric blue grout with a grey tile in a grid style layout, black mugs, and lots and lots of plants in classic terracotta planters.
