The Colours of Cuba
Reflecting almost a year later (heh). I went to Cuba in May 2018, the interiors and architecture there was so gorgeous! I’m still consistently inspired by the design and stunning colour combos I saw. I re-visit these photos regularly to pull inspiration for my design projects.
Let me share:
We stayed in a pink Airbnb!
The colourful buildings lining the streets seamlessly blend with the neutral tones of the surrounding Hanava.
Accidental complementary colour combos appear everywhere.
Buildings with unusual structures, like this yellow cube house above, stand out even in colourful Havana. This building would never exists in Ireland - mainly due to the weather!
We found Artdeco buildings on every corner.
And on the final day, we found our favourite bar. The mix of colours, artwork and mid-century furniture created a gorgeous bold atmosphere, but I think the bathroom won me over.
